When you are working your way through college, you make the most of what you have. I was living in a converted one-car garage apartment with two house cats. There was no closet, so I hung my clothes on a dowel, suspended from the ceiling. At least the garage was detached from the main house, and we resided at the end of a driveway, in the middle of a lovely, semi-wild garden. When I went out to get some sun, I would let the cats out to explore the yard. Tweeter, who never caught a mouse in her life, sure liked to pretend to hunt when she got into the ivy!
